Our Story
In 1912, Fred Shearer finished work on the Multnomah Hotel (currently Embassy Suites Portland) as the Superintendent of Tresholm Plastering. In 1916 he took over ownership of the company and established Fred Shearer & Sons. Since then four generations of the Shearer family have owned and operated the company while creating a reputation of providing excellent craftsmanship and expertise in the industry. Current company owners Ralph Schultz and John Park are proud to be carrying on the level of excellence established with earlier generations.
